NortSide Connect is a software and automation team based in Pretoria, Gauteng, working with businesses across South Africa, the rest of Africa and beyond.
Why we exist
Good software should not be a big-company privilege
Most South African businesses are told they have two choices: a cheap template that does not fit, or an enterprise system priced for a bank.
We built NortSide Connect for the enormous middle. The practice with four staff and a booking diary that keeps double-booking. The training provider re-typing the same learner into three systems. The agency losing enquiries because they arrive in five different inboxes.
None of those need a huge platform. They need one thing built properly, by someone who took the time to understand how the business actually runs, and who will still answer the phone in six months.
What we believe
- You should own it. Code, hosting, logins, data. All of it, at launch.
- Say the real number. A written scope and price before work starts, not after.
- Say no when it is right. If you do not need the thing you asked for, we will tell you.
- Build for real conditions. Mid-range phones, mobile data, load-shedding, imperfect signal.
- Leave it maintainable. Documented, so the next developer is not stuck.
